16th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery under 232 Brigade of 23 Division located in Tharavikulam area under Security Forces (East) organized shramadhana campaigns at Anurapura School and around the area on 12 March 2014.

24 Division in Security Forces (East) Organized a donation of two Computers worth of Rs 251300.00, Music instruments and Sports materials to AM/Aligambe Schools and AM/Weragala School in Ampara, with the Sponsorship of the "Foundation of Goodness" on 11th March 2014. Several Military and Civil Dignitaries presented for the Occasion.

Security Forces Headquarters East Conducted a Full Day Religious Program to Celebrate Nawam full moon poya day on 16th Mar 2014 under the guidance of Commander SFHQ (E) Maj Gen SAAL Perera RWP RSP ndu IG. Service Personnel who stationed under Security Forces Headquarters East were observed sil throughout the day .Bodhi pooja,Dhamma discussion and Bhana programs were conducted. More than 125 Service Personnel participated for the event.

15th Sri Lanka Light Infantry located in Soorangal under 224 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Force (East) area Conducted a Dengue Prevention Campaign by clearing the area of No 97 Gamunupura Vijitha School on 14 March 2014

15th Sri Lanka Light Infantry located in Soorangal under 224 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Force (East) area Provided Man Power assistance for the construction of the Toilet Complex of Agbopura Temple in Thissapura, on 15 March 2014.

12th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery Located at Siththandi Under 231 Bde of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area, conducted a Dengue Prevention campaign at punnakudu Village in Batticaloa along with civilions in the area on 21th March 2014.

24 Division in Security Forces (East) Organized a "Kapruk Pooja" at Sri Sangabodhi Temple, Dadayamthalawa in Ampara along with a donation of Books for students of Dhamma School and devotees who observed Sil on Poya day and Cloths for Villagers worth of Rs 45000.00 with the Sponsorship of Mrs Wasantha Pothipitiya and her family members of Gampaha on 17th March 2014.

11st Sri Lanka National Guard in Akkarepaththu under 242 Brigade of 24 Division in Security Forces (East) area, Organized Breakfast and a donation of Pirikara and Books worth of Rs 30000.00 for 30 Monks who were studying at the Pirivena of Higurana Temple in Ampara with the Sponsorship of the Mrs Wasantha Pothipitiya and her family members of Gampaha on 18th March 2014. Several Military and Civil Dignitaries were attend for the Occasion.

24 Division in Security Forces (East) Organized a Donation of Pirikara and Books worth of Rs 45000.00 among 30 x Monks who were studying at "Shasthraweli Piriwena" in Panama with the Sponsorship of Mrs Wasantha Pothipitiya and her family members of Gampaha on 15th March 2014. Several Military and Civil Dignitaries were attend for the Occasion.

27th Sri Lanka National Guard located in Ichalanpatthu under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area, organized a "Shramadhana Campaign" to clear the area of Walathottam School in Echchalampattu on 21 March 2014.
