22 Division in Security Forces (East), Organized a Two Days Educational Trip for 50 x students in Trincomalee area to visit Important places in Colombo on 10th and 11th December 2013.They visited Colombo Harbour,Muesium, Plannatorium and several other places during their Trip

22nd Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located in Kallar under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East), organized a distribution of school amenities among 153 x Students of Kallar area at Bodhirajarama Temple on 12th December 2013 and 06 x Wheel Chairs were distributed for Disable people in Kantale and Serunuwara area with the sponsorship of Galigamowe Gnanadeepa Thero. Ready made Garments were distributed among 50 under privileged families by them on the same day at Saraswathie School, Thanganagar

223 Brigade located under 23 Division in Security Forces(East) conducted a One Day work shop with the District Disaster Management Center, Polonnaruwa with an aim to rescue people who are affected due to floods and other adverse weather situations on 13th December 2013

A lecture was conducted by senior Attorney at - Law Mr Gomin Dayasiri on the topic of 13th amendment to Sri Lankan constitution and its possible implications on 18th Dec 2013 at Security Force Headquarters (East). The session was successfully conducted with the participation of nearly 240 officers with Brigade Commanders, Battalion Commanding officers and other senior officers attending.

8th Gemunu Watch located in Kokkadicholai under 231 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces(East), area organized a distribution of school amenities worth of Rs 5000 among 30 x students of Kokkadicholei Village in Manmunei South Divisional Secretariat on 16 December 2013 at Kokkadicholei Cultural Centre.

8th Gemunu Watch located in Unnachchiya under 231 Bde of 23 Division in Security Forces (East), area, conducted a Dengue Prevention Programme with Civilians in the area by clearing the surroundings of "Periyauppadi Cultural Center" in Kokkadichole on 18 December 2013.

22nd Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located in Kallar under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area organized a distribution of exercise books amongst 150 x students of "Mahawelipura School" and dry milk packets among 150 pregnant mothers in Mahawelipura on 23rd December 2013 The sponsorship has been born by a Buddhist monk in Singapore.

232 Brigade located in Tharavikulam under 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area, organised a competitions among students of Kudumbimalei Pre school and Kumaran Vidyalaya to highlight the talents of students and distributed Christmas presents for all the participants on 23rd December 2013 Soft drinks were also provided at the end of the occassion.

27th Sri Lanka National Guard located in Echchalanpaththu under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) organized a "Shramadhana Campaign" to clean the surroundings of Siththi Vinayagar Swami Kovil in Echchalanpaththu on 27 th December 2013.

22nd Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located in Kallar under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area organized a distribution of exercise books amongst 51 x students of "Peramaduwa Preschool" with the sponsorship of Nugegoda Herath Enterprises on 27th December 2013.
