With an aim to reduce the Human Elephant Conflict, 3rd Sri Lanka women corps under Security Forces (East). Organized an awareness program for Villagers of Dimbulagala regarding Preventive Measures of Human Elephant at Yakkure public hall with the assistance of Forest Officers in the area on 23 January 2014.

Minister of State for Defence of Republic of Uganda Hon Gen (Retd) Odongo JEJE visited Eastern Province on 30th January 2014. Initially Hon Gen (Retd) OdongoJEJE attended for a briefing regarding the development of the Eastern Province conducted by the Security Force Head Quarters( East) and had the tea with the Commander of Security Force (East) at "HOTEL ANILANA" in Pasikuda.

27th Sri Lanka National Guard located in Ichalanpathu under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) organized a "Shramadhana Campaign" to clear the surrounding of Ichalampatthu Hospital &Tree planting programme on 03rd February 2014 .

2nd Gajaba Regiment located in 221 Brigade area under 22 Div in security force (East) area, conducted a shramadana campaign to clear the surroundings of "Matko Pre School" premises in Trincomalee on 01th Oct 2013.

23rd Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment stationed in Sengamuwa, under 632 Brigade of Task Force 3 in the Security Forces( East) area, Organized a Lecture on the Importance of "The World Children$s Day" For Students in Lahugala School For The World Children$s Day on 01 October 2013.

8th Sri Lanka National Guard located in Thoppigala under 232 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East), Conducted a Pooja at Periyawadduwan Kovil on 02 nd Oct 2013 with the participation of Several Civilians in the Area.

232 Brigade located in Tharavikulam under 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area, conducted a shramadana campaign with civilians in the area, to clear the surroundings of "Pulipanchikal Sri Manikka Pilleyar pre School" premises in Batticaloa on 01th Oct 2013.

223 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area,Conducted a Shramadana To clear the area of "Maupiya Sewana Adults Home" in Medirigiriya Distributed Breakfast, Lunch, Refreshments, Cloths and Day today Requirements for Inmates on 05 Oct 2013.

16th Sri Lanka National Guard and 28th Sri Lanka National Guard located under 631 Bde of Task Force 3 in Security Forces (East) area, Provide Refreshments and Exercise Books For Students in "Marnatha pre Schoo", Sithumina pre School For The World Children$s Day on 01 October 2013.

5th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery located in Muthur under 224 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area, Distributed Lunch and Exercise Books for 34 x Students in "Annahar School" in Muthur on 01 October 2013.
