15th Sri Lanka Light Infantry located in Soorangal under 224 Brigade of 22 Div in Security Force (East) area, conducted a shramadana campaign to clear the roadsides in the access of Thissapura Aggrabodhi Temple from 0900 hours to 1130 hours on 14.11.2013

5th Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment and 15th Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment located in Thopur under 224 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area conducted lecture program in subjects of Mathematics and Science with the assistance of Sith Sevana Sahayogitha Sansadaya, for 200 x students of cover of the 13 school’s in Muttur area, who are sitting for the GCE (O/L) Examination this year at "Alhidiya Muslim School" in Muttur, from 0830 hrs to 1500 hrs on 18th November 2013 & Mollipathana Sinhala School from 0830 hrs to 1615 hrs on 19th November 2013.

223 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area distributed dry ration packets among 50 x pregnant mothers in Hingurakgoda area to mark its the President$s Birth day on 18 November 2013.

224 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area conducted lecture program in subjects of Mathematics and Science with the assistance of Sith Sevana Sahayogitha Sansadaya, for 200 x students of Muttur area, who are sitting for the GCE (O/L) Examination this year at "Alhidiya Muslim School" in Muttur, from 0830 hrs to 1500 hrs on 18th November 2013

223 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area distributed a lunch packets for 40 x children who are at "Dimello children home" in Muttur on 18 November 2013.

5th Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment located in Thopur under 224 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area "Dayata Sevana" National Tree Planting Programme 2013 was organized at 5th Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment in Kattaparichchan on 18th November 2013.

222 Brigade located in Jayanthigama under 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area distributed 50 X food parcels worth of Rs.2000 each, among pregnant mothers in Kanthale area at a ceremony held at Welunna Rajamaha Vihara (Agrabodhi Temple ) in Kanthale on17th November 2013. A wheel chair also donated to a disabled woman along with a “Bodhipooja” programme at the ceremony. Several Religious, Military and Civil dignitaries were participated for the occasion.

Tree Planting Ceremony was held at 23 Division on 15th November 2013 along with "Dayata Sevana" National Tree Planting Programme. 128 plants of coconut, 200 plants of margosa, 150 plants of jack, 50 plants of wood apple ,15 plants of mango ,25 plants of "Thibbatu", 50 plants of lime, 50 plants of "pihimbiya" and 30 plants of "nayimiris" were planted.

22nd Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located in Kallar under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East), provided man power assistance to construct a new "Teachers$ Quarters" at "Kallarawa Sinhalese School" in Kallar from 07th November 2013 to 14th November 2013.
