27th Sri Lanka National Guard located in 222 Brigade Area under 22 Division in Security Forces (East) conducted a shramadana campaign to clear the surroundings of Echalampatu Hospital from 0900 hours to1200 hours on 14th November 2013.

22nd Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located in Kallar under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East), provided lunch for 35 x students of "Kallarawa Sinhala School" in Kallar on 14thNovember 2013.

6th Sri Lanka Armored Corps located in Trincomalee under 221 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area, Provided Man Power assistance for a Poor family to construct their home, at Gomarankadavala in Trincomalee on 22 Aug 2013.

Sri Lanka Army organized to resettle 57 Families in Koonathieve east in Sampoor under the direction of Commander Security Forces (East). A simple function was held at Koonathieve East to commence the resettlement, 56 families are to be resettled in their own locations where they were previously occupied. Sri Lanka Army completed the demining and provide all necessary assistance for the resettlement process. Several Military and Civil dignitaries present for the function.

1st Runner Up of Ranaviru Real Star Lance Copral Nadeesha Saranga who is from 4th Sri Lanka Army Service Corps, Hingurakgoda was felicitated at a function held at Security Forces Headquarters East, Welikanda on 28th August 2013. Major General SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG Commander, Security Forces East, also Grace the Occasion. Lance Copral Nadeesha Saranga was presented a Memento for his success by Commander, Security Forces East.

His Excellency the President Mahinda Rajapaksha Declare opened the newly renovated St Peters$ Church at Vakarai which was destroyed due to "Tsunami". The church was renovated with the assistance of Sri Lanka Army under the directions of Major General Lal Perera, The Commander, Security Forces (East) and was re-Opened on 1st September 2013. Several Religious, Civil and Military dignitaries attended for the function along with more than 2000 devotees.

8th Regiment Sri Lanka National Guard located in Kalladi under 232 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East),area Organized a "Medical Clinic" at Periyawadduwan Village in Thoppigala area with the assistance of YMCA Batticaloa along with Dr A Gnarathnam on 29 August 2013. 50 X Civilians who could not access for proper medical treatment for their illness were benefitted.

With an aim to enhance the Ethnic Harmony in the Country ,3rd Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located in Kalmunai under 631 Brigade of Task Force 3 in Security Forces (East) Conducted a Religious programme at the Deegavapi Temple on 31st August 2013 in connection with Devotees of Sadaham kirana Movement in Katugastota. A large gathering including Sinhaleese, Tamilsand Muslims were participated for the event with Members of Military.

Several Religious ,Civil and Military dignitaries presented for the function.
