5th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery located in Thopur under 224 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area, Organized A Dansal Programme and distribute fried rice For Devotees Who Attend For Poson Fastival At Dehiwaththa Junction on 14 June 2014 With Assistance of Dehiwatta Young Mens Buddhist Association and Local Donors.

5th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery located in Thopur under 224 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area, organized a "Shramadhana Campaign" on 14 June 2014. to clear the area of "Vallikerni", where the proposed site identified to resettle 162 families, who were displaced in Sampoor.

2nd Gajaba Regiment located in Trincomalee under 221 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area, organized a "Shramadhana Campaign" to clear the surrounding of Linganagar "Deft and Blind School" on 17 June 2014.

The Commander Security Force East Major General SAAL Perera visited Batticaloa, Eravur and Tincomalee area to have discussion with the community leaders and society leaders on 19th June 2014 with regard to the incidents recently happed in Aluthgama and Beruwala areas. At this discussion the security commander thanked to the Muslim brotherhood about keeping peace and harmony in the area.

23rd Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment located in Komari under 242 Brigade of 24 Division in Security Forces (East) area, distributed Diner for devotees who were on a pilgrimage to Katharagama At Murugan Kovil in Pothuvill on 17 June 2014. The Chief incumbent of Muhudu Maha Vihara ,Pothuvil, Venarable Warakapola Indrasara Theoro also participated at the occasion.
