INTER SCHOOLS AND INTER SPORT CLUBS FINAL CRICKET TOURNAMENT
A Cricket tournament was held in Ampara district in accordant with a concept of Maj General SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG Comd Security Force (East) with the motive of promoting peace and harmony between Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim Communities in the area.
Several sport clubs inclusive of school sport clubs competed against each other in this tournament.
Kalmunei Zahira College team and Akkaripattu Kalleivattam Sport Club were champions in Inter Schools Sport Clubs and Inter Sport Clubs respectively at Addlachchanai Public Stadiums on 29 th July 2014.
The Chief Guest was Major General SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG commander Security Force (East) and GOC 24 Div Brigadier HRKP Peiris USP, all Bde Comds of 24 Division alone with the civil officials in the area made their present on this occasion.
