8th Sri Lanka National Guard located in Periyawadduwan under 232 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) organized a hair cutting service for school students of Eralakkulam school in Eraurpattu on 29 July 2014.

22nd Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located in Kallar under the 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area conducted a seminar for 124 students who are sitting for the Grade 5 scholarship exam at Mahaweligama naoddaya School. The program was conducted from 0830 hrs to 1300 hrs on 03 August 2014 with the assistance of civil lecturers.

Security Force (East) distributed Drinking Water for who were affected by the prevailing drought at Namalgama, Kurulubedda, Sigshapura, and Kadawathmadu Villages on 03th August 2014.

27 nd Sri Lanka National Guard located in Kallar under the 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area conducted Water for who were effected by the prevailing drought at Ilangathuri mohothuwaram Village on 05th August 2014.

11th Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment located in Meeyankolla under the 232 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area conducted a Dengue Prevention Campaign of Bogamuyaya village area by clearing the surroundings on 01 August 2014.

11th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery located in Meeyankolla under 232 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area, organized a $$Shramadhana Campaign$$ to repaired the stupa at Henanigala Temple on 03 August 2014.

On a Notion Proposed By Mrs Damayanthi Ratnayake, President Army Sewa Vanitha Unit, all Members of the Army Sewa Vanitha Unit and Staff at the Army Sewa Vanitha Unit Office made arrangements to distributed 05 Liter Water Bottles and Drinking Water through Bowsers to 701 Families on 08 Aug 2014 at Madirigiriya Divisional Secretariat area.

Security Forces Headquarters (East) Celebrated the Nikini Festival along with a Sil observing Campaign, Damma Discussion, Arms Giving and a Bodhi Pooja Programme on 10 Aug 2014 at Security Forces Headquarters (East), Walikanda. Officers and Soldiers who are serving in Security Forces (East) were presence for the event.

231 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area Organized a Blood Donation Programme at 231 Brigade in Kallady From 0900 hrs to 1530 hrs on 09 Aug 2014 . 6 Offrs and 100 Soldiers participated for this event .
