222 Brigade of 22 Div in Security Force (East) donated the School amenities among the 68 x Students who were studying in Pansalgodalla Junior School in Kanthale with the Sponsorship of Mr. Sampath Bandara and Mr. Dhammika Aluthgedara from”Wenasa” praja sathkara Programme on 12th Sep 2014.

Commander Security Force (East) Major general SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG visited 24 Division and addressed troops under command to Brigades and Battalions on 12 and 13 Sep 2014. He was welcomed by GOC 24 Division Brigader PMR Bandara WWV USP psc.

Commander security force (East) Maj Gen SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG declared opened a "Sangawasaya" for International Buddhist Centre at Arantalawa on 12 Sep 2014 with the blassing and financial donation of Indrasara Pariwenadipaty Venerable Kirindiwela Somarathna thero. The manpower to construct this building was provided by Army troops in the area. GOC 24 Division and other Military and Civilion Officials were made their present in this meritorious deed.

Commander security force (East) Maj Gen SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG declared opened a new house for poor family who were living at Tiriukkovil GS divisional area on 13 Sep 2014. This house constructed by with the material support of VIPs, NGOs and doners in the area.12 Sri lanka national guard troops provided manpower to construct this house. Goc 24 Division and other Military and Civilian Officials in the area were made their present in this Occasion.

12 Sri Lanka National Guard located in Kanchanakuda under 242 Brigade of 24 Division in Security Force (East) Organized an Eye Clinic for Students in Pothuwil, Thirukkoovil, Aladiwembu, at Thirukkoovil Schools in Ampara area on 12 Sep 2014 With the Support of Nandadasa Kodogoda Foundation, Dharama Vijiya Foundation and AHH-(A Helping Hand) local Organization.

12th Gajaba Regiment Located in Batticaloa Under 231 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Force (East) organized a "Dengue Prevention Campaign" to clean in and around of Kaththankudi Town & Coast areas in Batticaloa on 13 Sep 2014 with the participation of civilians in the area. (Troops participated 01 x 30)

12th Gajaba Regiment Located in Batticaloa Under 231 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Force (East) Conducted a Shramadhana Campaign to clear the Surrounding of Mangalarama Temple in Batticaloa on 15 Sep 2014. (Troops participated 01 x 10)

2nd Gajaba Regiment located in Trincomalee under 221 Brigade of 22 Division in Security force (East) distributed drinking Water for 60 x Families who were affected by the prevailing drought at Lingapuram Village on 15 Sep 2014. (Troops participated 00 x 03)

22nd Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located in Kallar under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) Conducted a Shramadhana Campaign to clear the Surrounding of disable war hero$s house in ( RB 3) Somapura Village on 15 Sep 2014. (Troops participated 00 x 05)
