23rd Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment under 242 Brigade of 24 Division in Security Force (East), conducted medical clinic for students of Hulannuge Central College, Ampara with the sponsorship from Diamond Star Lions Club at Attanagalle on 27 Sep 2014. Further 156 x students were gifted with school amenities worth of Rs: 3000/= on this occasion. (Troops participated 03 x 10)

Implementing the concept “Healthy Army Healthy Nation” of the Comd of the Army Lt Gen RMD Rathnayake WWV RWP RSP USP ndu psc, Headquarters Security Force (East) organized a 3 days workshop on “Art of Living” conducted by Indian instructor Mr Sri Ravi Shanker, for 67 senior officers and soldiers who are serving under security force (East) area, at the Headquarters Security Force (East) - Welikanda on 28,29 and 30th Sep 2014.
