Commander security force (East) Maj Gen SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG declared opened a "Sangawasaya and Dana Shalawa" of Jayasumanaramaya temple at Trincomalee on 19 Oct 2014. 2 (V) GR was provided the required assistance for this meritorious deed. GOC 22 division, Commander 221 Brigade and other military and civilion officials were made their presence at the occasion.

6th Sri Lanka Vijayabahu Regiment located in Thiriyaya under the 221 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Forces (East), organized a $$Shramadhana Campaign$$ to clean the premises of Alnuriya Pimary school in Trincomalee on 19th October 2014 (Troops participated 00 x 06)

22nd Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located in Kallar under the 221 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Forces (East), organized a $$shramadana$$ campaign to clean the premises of Kanthale School in Kanthale on 21st October 2014. (Troops participated 00 x 05)

27th Sri Lanka National Guard located in Echchalanpattu under the 222 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Forces (East), distributed drinking water among families residing at Ilangathurei village in Trincomalee area on 21st October 2014. (Troops participated 00 x 03)
