9th Gemunu Watch and 3rd Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard placed under the 233 Brigade of 23 Division in the AOR of Security Forces (East) conducted a seminar for 426 students who are sitting for the O/L examination in Vakarei School on 11th and 12th October 2014.(Troops participated 05 x 23)

3 rd Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard placed under the 233 Brigade of 23 Division in the AOR of Security Forces (East) distributed school amenities among 333 x students at Panichchankarni Thirumagal School,kadiraweli Wigneshwara school, kaddamuruvilkulam GTM school in Vakarei on 16th Oct 2014. Said event was sponsored by the Mrs Dammika Gunarathna of Presidential Secretariat Colombo. (Troops participated 03 x 10)
