  • SRI LANKA ARMY ENGINEER DIVISION CONDUCTED A ONE- DAY LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAMME

    As per the direction of Directorate of Training, Army Headquarters and the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of Sri Lanka Army Engineer Division, Major General SPG Gamage RWP RSP USP, a leadership training programme was conducted for 36 trainers including 20 Buddhist theros and 16 after advanced level students of Nagananda International Institute of Buddhist Studies (NIIBS) on 21st January 2025 at the Nagananda International Institute, Kelaniya.

  • VISIT OF THE GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF THE SRI LANKA ARMY ENGINEER DIVISION TO THE PLANT ENGINEER BRIGADE

    Major General SPG Gamage RWP RSP USP, the General Officer Commanding of the Sri Lanka Army Engineer Division made his official visit to Plant Engineer Brigade, Kantale on 11 January 2025. Upon the arrival of the General Officer Commanding was accorded with a Drive Pass and warmly welcomed by Commander (Overlooking) Plant Engineer Brigade.

  • 14 CBRNE RESPONSE REGIMENT CONDUCTS A WORKSHOP IN MENTAL WELLBEING FOR PEAK PERFORMANCE OF THE ATHLETES

    Being a soldier means being physically strong Nonetheless, the 14 CBRNE Response Regiment understands that a well-rounded strategy that incorporates both mental and physical resilience is the key to true strength. In keeping with this dedication, the regiment recently held an essential workshop for all of its sports teams that focused on improving sportsmanship and mental health.

    Major General S P G Gamage RWP RSP USP, General Officer Commanding of Engineer Division, paid an official visit to the 7 Field Engineer Regiment, Minneriya on 10 January 2025.

  • SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF VETERINARY ASSISTANT COURSE NO - 01/2024

    Under the guidance of the Commander of the Field Engineer Brigade and the Sri Lanka School of Military Engineering, and under the supervision of the Commanding Officer of the 14 CBRNE Response Regiment, the Veterinary Assistant Course 01/2024 successfully concluded at the 14 CBRNE Response Regiment in Mattegoda. Thirteen other rank students from the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and four other rank students from the Commando Regiment were qualified as Veterinary Assistance.

    Major B L G T P Subasinghe RSP USP psc SLE assumed duties as the 23rd Commanding Officer of the 6 Field Engineer Regiment on 31st December 2024 amidst formal military traditions and religious rituals. Newly appointed Commanding Officer was warmly welcomed by Major W A K I T Wanniarachchi SLE Second in Command upon his arrival at the Headquarters premises.

    6 Field Engineer Regiment bids farewell for Lieutenant Colonel M A K R K Abeywickramasinghe RWP RSP psc SLE upon completion of 1 year and 4 months of his illustrious military tenure as the 22nd Commanding Officer on 31 December 2024 at 6 Field Engineer Regiment, Pallekele, Kundasale. The farewell ceremonies included a Guard Turnout, Ceremonial Parade and followed by a Troop Address by the outgoing Commanding Officer to Officers and Other ranks.

  • SLE SEVA VANITHA BRANCH LAUNCHES BOOK DONATION INITIATIVE AT 8 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT

    Under the visionary guidance of Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Commander Security Forces (West) and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, alongside Mrs. Surangi Amarapala, President of the SLE Seva Vanitha Branch, a heartwarming book donation programme was launched at the 8 Field Engineer Regiment in Boo-oya, Vavuniya, on Saturday, 04th January 2025, aimed at brightening the futures of 21 children of soldiers.

  • SLE SEVA VANITHA BRANCH ROLLS OUT ANOTHER BOOK DONATION PROGRAMME AT 7 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT

    Under the visionary guidance of Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Commander Security Forces (West) and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, and Mrs. Surangi Amarapala, President of the SLE Seva Vanitha Branch, another inspiring book donation programme was unfolded on 04th January 2025 at the 7 Field Engineer Regiment in Minneriya. This impactful initiative sought to unlock brighter futures for 21 children of soldiers, strengthening educational opportunities and fostering unity within military families.

  • 10 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT’S DONATION PROGRAM SUPPORTS BOTH SOLDIERS AND CIVILIAN STAFF

    Under the guidance of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, a welfare initiative was held on 31st December 2024 at the 10 Field Engineer Regiment, led by Major R R I Rodrigo psc SLE, the Overlooking Commanding Officer. The program aimed to support soldiers’ families and civilian staff by addressing educational needs and providing essential aids.
