23rd Battalion of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment located at Sengamuwa under the 242 Brigade of 24 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a drug prevention and awareness programme for the School children of Sinna ulla Sinhapura SinhalaVidyalaya on 28 May 2015 from 0900 hrs to 1200 hrs. Five teachers and fifty students were participated for this programme. The lectures were conducted by the representatives from the Sri Lanka Police. (Troops participated 00 x 02)

23 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a Poson Zone at the entrance of 23 Div, Punani on 02nd and 03rd June 2015 and it was declared open by the Major General NJ Walgama RSP USP ndu psc Commander Security Forces (East), This event was coloured with attractive lanterns, pandols as well as Poson Bhakthi Gee. A Rice Dansel was organized to provide rice to all participants came to visit poson Zone.

22 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a rice dansel at the Trincomalee market, Anuradapura junction in parallel with Poson Full Moon Poya Day. It was declared open by the Honourable Governor of Eastern Province Mr. Austin Fernando and District Secretary of Trincomalee Mr. NAA Pushpa Kumara at pm hours on 02.06.2015.
