WORKSHOP AT 23 DIVISION FOR NON COMMISSIONED OFFICERS IN SF (E) AOR
The Junior Non Commissioned Officers played a very vital role during the humanitarian ops and their contributions for small group operations and in the face of the enemy were commendable. However it had been observed that most of the JNCOs do not possess the required knowledge expected from a JNCO in a peace time Army.View of above, 23 Division organized a workshop for NCO\'s in SF (E) AOR and the workshop will continue for 03 days from 8th April to 10th April 16. The objective of the workshop is to educate NCO\'s on the duties and responsibilities of NCO\'s and the qualities expected from NCO\'s.The workshop was conducted by retired WO 1 KHA Seneviratna of the Corps of Engineers. WO 1 KHA Senevirathna was a well known figure amongst most of the Officers in the Army as he has served at the Sri Lanka Military Academy closer to 18 yrs as an instructor. It was expected that his wealth of knowledge and experience will definitely upgrade the standards of the NCO\'s who attended the workshop. A total no of 210 NCO\'s attended the workshop.
