242 Brigade of 24 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), Organized an Eye Clinic for students of Thambiluvil Cenral collage, Thirukkovil with the assistance from Nandadasa Kodagoda foundation, Darmavijaya foundation and Helping Hand Organization on 03 Dec 2014. 319 x Students of 54 x selected schools were participated for the occasion. 5th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery Located at Thopoor under 224 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East) provided lunch for 32 x displaced children who are studing at Annahar girls school and careing by st. Antonis church at Muthur on 04th Dec 2014 to mark the christmas Day. (Troops participated 01 x 10)

Concept and the direction of Lieutenant General RMD Ratnayake WWV RWP RSP USP ndu psc, the Commander of the Army and under the supervision and guidance of Major General SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG Commander Security Force (East), the Army Mini Tattoo in the Eastern Theater was organized by the GOC 22 Division at the National Play ground polonnaruwa on 04 & 05 December respectivitvely.
