ARMY MINI TATTOO WAS ORGANIZED GLAMOROUSLY IN POLONNARUWA
Concept and the direction of Lieutenant General RMD Ratnayake WWV RWP RSP USP ndu psc, the Commander of the Army and under the supervision and guidance of Major General SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG Commander Security Force (East), the Army Mini Tattoo in the Eastern Theater was organized by the GOC 22 Division at the National Play ground polonnaruwa on 04 & 05 December respectivitvely. It was glamorously celebrated sharing a brand new experience unveiling military soft capabilities to general public by performing a series of events such as Parachuting, Heli Rappelling, Drill, Band, PT display, Dog Show, Motor Cycle Display etc.
The First day of Army mini Tattoo commenced with the participation of Chief Minister, North Central Province Mr. S.M. Ranjith as the Chief Guest and the Commander Security Force(East)Major General SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG accompanied him as the Guest of honour. In addition to that GOC 23 Div, Senior Officers and civil Officials in the area also were participated for the event.
On the second day Deputy Minister - Ministry for Land and Land Development Mr. Siripala Gamalath graced the glories of the occasion as the Chief Guest and Major General SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG too was presented as the Guest of honour. GOC 24Div, Commander FMA (East), representatives of Navy, Air Force, Police and large gathering of Civilians were also present.
Furthermore, organizing committee of the Army Mini Tattoo specially organized an evening musical entertainment event for the general public at the end of each day program.
