12th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery located at Kalladi under 232 Brigade of 23 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), supported to clean and renovate 5x flood affected houses on 30 Dec 2014. (Troops participated 02 x 20)

17th Sri Lanka Light Infantry Battalion located in Kandakadu under 233 Brigade of 23 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East) helped the flood effected people to clean their houses to resettle on 30th Dec 2014. (Troops participated 01 x 10)

2nd Bn the Gajaba Regiment placed under the 221 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force Headquarters (East), organized a “Shramadana" campaign to clean the premises of Bodhipadarama Temple in Sumedankarapura on 18 November 2014. (Troops participated 00 x 06 )

6th Bn the Sri Lanka Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located at Thiriyaya under Command to 221 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Forces (East), distributed 100 x Coconut Plants for 50 x families in Thiriyaya, Kuchchaweli DS Divisional area on 18 Nov 2014 with the Sponsorship of Samurdhi Niyamaka from Kuchchaweli. (Troops participated 01 x 10)

6th Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located in Thiriyaya under the 221 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a “Shramadhana Campaign” to clean the premises of Girihadusaya viharaya in Thiriyaya DS Area on 21th November 2014(Troops participated 00 x 06)

22nd Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located at Serunuwara under the 222 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East) conducted a “Kovil Pooja” at Murugan Kovil in Ariyamankarni on 20th Nov 2014, with the participation of civilians in the area (Troops participated 01 x 06).

3rd Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard placed under the 233 Brigade of 23 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East) distributed school amenities and dry ration packs among 40 x students and 40 x Civilons at Vakarei area on 20th Nov 2014. Said event was sponsored by the Mrs Indrani Mendis. and it was Organized by Comd 233 Bde (Troops participated 04 x 24)

24th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard placed under the 233 Brigade of 23 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East) distributed school amenities and dry ration packs among 30 x students and 30 x Civilions at Namalgama area on 20th Nov 2014. Said event was sponsored by the Mrs Indrani Mendis. (Troops participated 04 x 24)

232 Brigade of 23 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East)Organized a Tree Planting Programme in Pulipanchikal and Kudimbimalei area on 22th Nov 2014 with the participation of civilians in the area.(Troops participated 03 x 10)

222 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force Headquarters (East), arranged a scholarship’s for 05 x students who got through Grade 5 examination 2014 in Kanthale and Ichchalanpaththu area. Each student has given Rs 1500.00 worth of sponsorship Donated by Mr. AF Wijerathna a retired principal.CAO 222 Bde and officers of 27 SLNG were participated for the occasion on 19th November 2014(Troops participated 02 x 02)
