2nd Gajaba Regiment placed under the 221 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force Headquarters (East), organized a “shramadana" campaign to clean the premises of Kappalthurei Amman kovil in Trincomalee on 21st October 2014. (Troops participated 00 x 06)

8th Gemunu Watch located in Kokadicholei under the 231 Brigade of 23 Division in the AOR of Security Forces (East), conducted “Kovil Pooja” at Siththi Vinayagar Kovil and Santhimale pulleyar kovil in Batticaloa on 22nd Oct 2014 With the participation of civilians in the area (Troops participated 02 x 20)

As per the direction by Maj Gen SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG, Commander Security Force (East), a lecture on ‘Emotional intelligence” was conducted at SFHQ(E) by Mr H Abdul saththar – Registar at South Eastern University of Sri Lanka on 21 Oct 2014. 40 x officers serving SFHQ(E) AOR were attended for the Session.

12th Gajaba Regiment located under 231 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Force (East) provided lunch for 40 x handicapped children in “Mancafe Orphanage” in Manmune North on 18th Sep 2014. (Troops participated 01 x 06)

8th Gemunu Watch located under 231 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Force (East) donated books for students of Kopaweli GTMS Vidyalaya, Weligahakandiya Wipulananda Vidyalaya and Thumpalancholei Pre school on 19th Sep 2014 under the patronage of Major Mutugala -2 IC 8 GW and his Family to mark the 10 birthday of his daughter. (Troops participated 05 x 15)

22nd Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located Serunuwara under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Force (East) distributed lunch and gifts for 39 x children in "Rewatha Orphanage" on 19th Sep 2014 to mark the 5 anniversary of the Battalion. (Troops participated 03 x 12)
