27th Sri Lanka National Guard located at Echchalanpattu under the 222 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force Headquarters (East), distributed drinking water among 168 x families at Ilangathurei village in Trincomalee on 27th Oct 2014. (Troops participated 00 x 03)

The 11th anniversary celebrations of Security Force Headquarters (East) was commenced with the pooja at the Dewalaya -Minneriya on 25th Oct 2014 under the patronage of the Commander Security Forces (East) and with the participation of all Officers and ORs. On 26 th Oct 2014 a colourful procession was conducted prior to the Pirith chanting ceremony and it was concluded with the heel dana pinkama for 16 x monks on the following day. A blood donation campaign was held with the participation of officers/ORs at the SFHQ (E) premises on 28 Oct 2014, Further on 31st Oct 2014.

2nd Gajaba Regiment placed under the 221 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force Headquarters (East), organized a “shramadana" campaign to clean the premises of Paleiuththu childrens’ park in Trincomalee on 31st October 2014. (Troops participated 00 x 06).

6th Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located at Thiriyaya under the 221 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force Headquarters(East), organized a "Shramadhana Campaign" to clean the premises of Pulleyar kovil in Thiriyaya on 01s tNov 2014(Troops participated 00 x 06)

12th Gajaba Regiment Located at Batticaloa Under 231 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Force Headquarters(East) donated dry ration packets for people who are displaced in Koslanda, Badulla District on 01st Nov 2014.(Troops participated 03 x 10)

6th Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located at Thiriyaya under the 221 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force Headquarters(East), organized a "Shramadhana Campaign" to clean the Nilaweli coastal area in Nilaweli on 02nd Nov 2014 (Troops participated 00 x 06).

12th Gajaba Regiment Located at Batticaloa Under 231 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Force Headquarters (East) renovated the electrical system and fixed new fans for the main hall of Pudur Vigneshvara Tamil Viddayala in Manmunei North on 02nd Nov 2014.(Troops participated 00 x 04)

24th Sri Lanka National Guard located at Sinhapura under the 233 Brigade of 23 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), distributed Dry Ration Packets for 41 x Pregnant mothers at Sinhapura in welikanda DS Divisional area on 02st Nov 2014 with the Sponsorship of Mrs AS Weerakoon from Colombo. (Troops participated 02 x10)
