14 Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) Response Regiment recently conducted a comprehensive one-day workshop on 06 April 2024 at the 4 Commando Regiment Ganemulla. On 5 April 2024, the 14 Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) Response Regiment SLE stationed at Mattegoda demonstrated its expertise and readiness when it swiftly responded to a hazardous gas leakage incident at Lanka Steel Company in Weliweriya. The timely and professional actions of the CBRN Response team averted potential harm to civilians and property, showcasing their commitment to safety and disaster response.
