MAJOR GENERAL D K S K DOLAGE USP psc ASSUMES DUTIES AS THE 22ND COMMANDER OF SECURITY FORCES (CENTRAL)

Major General D K S K Dolage USP psc assumed office as the 22nd Commander of the Security Forces (Central) on 18 December 2024. Upon his arrival at the camp premises, the newly appointed Commander Security Forces (Central) was accorded with a Guard turnout and a Guard of honor by troops of the 23 VIR.

Thereafter, Major General D K S K Dolage USP psc auspiciously assumed his duties amidst religious observances and signed an official document to signify the acceptance of his office.

Following the formalities, the newly appointed Commander Security Forces (Central) posed for a group photograph to mark the occasion and addressed the All ranks, emphasizing his aims and objectives followed by participating in a formal All-ranks tea gathering at the NCOs’ Club.

Subsequently, he addressed the heads of Divisions, Brigades, and Battalions via Virtual Platform. A comprehensive briefing was held in the conference hall with the participation of the Commander Logistics, Brigadier General Staff, Brigadier Admin and Quartering, and all Staff Officers performing duties at the Security Forces Headquarters (Central) and its subordinate units.

Finally, the Commander shared his closing remarks, inviting all Officers to actively contribute as members of his team. He concluded by expressing his sincere gratitude to all past and present Officers and Soldiers of the Security Forces Headquarters (Central).
