The 55 Infantry Division of the Security Forces Jaffna spearheaded the Clean Sri Lanka Project, marking a significant milestone at KN/Murugananda College in Murasumoddai, Kilinochchi. The project focused on enhancing infrastructure and promoting environmental sustainability. It highlights the vital role of community collaboration in improving educational facilities and fostering a cleaner, greener environment.

In a heartfelt initiative to support a needy family in Thelippalei, Jaffna, Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc, General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division, ceremoniously laid the foundation stone for a new house in the J/239 Kadduwan (West) GN Division on 15 February 2025.

In celebration of Sri Lanka’s 77th Independence Day, and in alignment with the vision of the General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division, Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc, a special community welfare initiative was conducted at St. Teresa Elders' Home on 04 February 2025.

In conjunction with the 77th National Independence, a cleaning programme was organized at the Palai Railway Station on 03 February 2025, with the participation of the troops of 23rd Battalion, Gemunu Watch and civilians in the area, as part of the “Clean Sri Lanka” programme.
