In conjunction with the 77th National Independence Day, a beach cleaning programme was organized at the Kaddaikadu Beach on 03 February 2025, with the participation of Commander, 522 Infantry Brigade and Rev. Fr. Amalraj of St. Mary's Church, Kaddaikadu with the troops of 522 Infantry Brigade, 10th Battalion, Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment as part of the “Clean Sri Lanka” programme.
Under the guidance of Major General VDS Perera, the General Officer Commanding of 52 Infantry Division and the supervision of Brigadier WKSPMRAB Dodamwala psc, the Commander of 522 Infantry Brigade programme was organized by Major SH Sudhusinghe VIR, the Commanding Officer of 10th Battalion, Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment .
