In conjunction with the 77th National Independence, a cleaning programme was organized at the Palai Railway Station on 03 February 2025, with the participation of the troops of 23rd Battalion, Gemunu Watch and civilians in the area, as part of the “Clean Sri Lanka” programme.
Under the guidance of Major General DS Perera, the General Officer Commanding of 52 Infantry Division and the supervision of Brigadier WKSPMRAB Dodamwala psc, the Commander of 522 Infantry Brigade, programme was organized by Major EA Edirisinghe RWP RSP psc, the Commanding Officer of the Battalion.
