The 55 Infantry Division, under the guidance of Major General Manada Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander, Security Forces (Jaffna), organized a "Tree Planting" programme on 4 February 2025 in Kilinochchi to commemorate the 77th National Independence Day.
This initiative also supported the government’s #Clean Sri Lanka concept by promoting environmental sustainability and fostering a healthier environment for the local community.
Troops from the 55 Infantry Division and the 551 Infantry Brigade collaborated with local Government Officials to coordinate and implement the programme successfully.
