With an Aim to uplift the Educational standards in the Eastern Theatre, 18th Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Located in Batticaloa Under 231 Bde of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area, Conducted a Seminar for 2751X Students of "Kaludaweli School, Wellaweli kaleimagal School and Kaththankudi School", who appear for the Year 5 scholarship Examination in the Year 2013 in Batticaloa area with the assistance of "A Tomorrow for Youth" movement at Hisbulla Cultural Center,Kathankudi in Batticaloa from 0900hrs to 1500hrs on 23 July 2013

8th Sri Lanka National Guard located in Periyawadduwan under 232 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area, Conducted a Dengue Prevention Programme with the participating Civilians in the area, to Clean the premises of Muruthana Vinayagar Pallar Pre School at Koraweli in Batticaloa On 20 July 2013.

6th Sri Lanka Armoured Corps located in Morawewa Under 221 Bde of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area, Organized a "Kovil pooja" at "Koneshwaram Kovill" in Trincomalee with the participation of a large number of civilians in the area at 1100 hrs on 27 July 2013.

22 nd Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located in Serunuwara under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) , area, Conducted a distribution of School amenities for 62 X Students of "Mahawelipura School" at Suriyawewa in Kanthale on 27th July 2013.

224 Brigade located Thopur Under 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area, Conducted a distribution of Gift parcels contained School amenities and clothes for 60 X Students of "Soodaiukuda Parathi Pre School" with the Sponcership of an Army Soldier, Lance Corporal Weerakkody AM of 22nd VIjayabahu Infantry Regiment at Kiliweddi,Mutur On 25th July 2013.

Sri Lanka Army,6th Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located in Nilaveli under 221 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area, Organized a "Shramadana Campaign" to clean "Nilaweli beach area" from 0900 hrs to 1200 hrs on 26 July 2013

With an aim to enhance the relationship with the Muslim community, 222 Brigade located in Kantale under 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area, assist to conduct "IFTAR" functions in Ramadan Season by providing a service of a Water Bowser at Peraru Mosque in Kanthale on 29th July 2013.

15th Sri Lanka Light infantry located in Thopoor under 224 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East), Organized a "Shramadana Campaign" to clean "Kinniya beach area" from 0900hrs to 1200hrs on 26 July 2013

5th Sri Lanka Artillery located in Thopoor under 224 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East), conducted a "Shramadana Campaign" to clean a Public well at Sinnakulam Village in PahalaThopur,Mutur on 27 July 2013

With an aim to enhance the relationship with the Muslim community, 632 Brigade of Task Force 3 in the Security Forces( East) area, assist to conduct and participated for an "IFTAR" function conducted at Jumma Mosque in Potuvil on 30th July 2013.A Public Address System worth of Rs 100,000/= was also donated to the Mosque with the Sponcershipof Dr Kapila Gunawardena of Kandy at the function.
