12th Gajaba Regiment located in Kalladi of 231 Brigade under 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area, conducted a shramadana campaign with civilians in the area , to clear the surroundings of "Dsuisda pre School" and "Nawathkuda church" area in Batticaloa on 30th Sep 2013 and 01th Oct 2013.

15th Sri lanka Light infantry located in Soorangal under 224 Brigade of 22 Div in Security Force (East) area, conducted following welfare activities at Thissapura Aggrabodi Temple on 06 Oct 2013, for the benefit of Civilions in Kanthale area with the Sponsorship of Ms Riyenci Madurawala, The President of Riyenci Group of Negambo

With an aim to build up the relationship with all religions in the Eastern Theater, Task Force 3 Under Security Forces (East), provided Refreshments for more than 300 X devotees who attend for the Annual Mass of the Roman Catholic Church, Akkaraipattu which was held in a mass scale on 21st July 2013, Army Personnel who are serving at Task Force 3 also attend for the Mass.

With an Aim to uplift the Educational standards in the Eastern Theatre, 2nd Gajaba Regiment located in Trincomalee under 221 Bde in of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area Conducted a Seminar for 300 X Students, who appear for the Year 5 scholarship Examination in the Year 2013 in Trincomalee area at "St Joshap$s College" in Trincomalee from 0900 hrs to 1500 hrs on 16 July 2013

221 Bde located in Trincomalee under 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area assist to Organize a Medical Clinic for people in Trincomalee area at Gomarankadawala School from 0900 hrs to 1500 hrs on 20 July 2013 with the sponsorship of "Janasarana Foundation". 1000 X patients who are from under privileged families, who do not have the access to obtain proper medical treatments in Trincomalee area, were received treatments from the said Medical clinic.

24th Regiment Sri Lanka National Guard located in Sinhapura under 233 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Force (East) area, organized an Football training work shop to enhance the sportsmanship amongst the younger generation of Sevanapitiya area on 30th Sep 2013. 45 Players from Schools and Sports Clubs in Sevanapitiya area were participated for the Work Shop.

24 Sri Lanka National Guard located in Singhapura under 233 Brigade of 23 Division under Security Forces (East) area, Organized an "Esala Dansal" Programme at Somawathie temple on 22 July 2013, with the participation of more than 10000 Sinhala ,Tamil and Muslim devotees with the sponsorship of well-wishers who came from Battaramulla.

With an Aim to uplift the Educational standards in the Eastern Theatre, 12th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery located in Batticaloa under 231 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area, Conducted a Seminar for 342 X Students, who appear for the Year 5 scholarship Examination in the Year 2013, in Batticaloa area with the assistance of "A Tomorrow for Youth" movement at "Vandarammulla School" in Batticaloa from 0900hrs to 1500hrs on 22 July 2013

8th Sri Lanka National Guard located in Periyawadduwan under 232 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area, Organized an Awareness Programme,on use of Thunder Flashes and distribute Thunder Flashes , for the Benefit of 150 families live in in Irrakkulam, Narakamulla, Perumaweli and Periyawadduwan area to restrict Movements of Elephants , at Irrakkulam Helth center ,on 20th July 2013 with the assistanance of the Wild Life Department

With an aim to enhance the relationship with the Muslim community, 3rd Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located in Kalmunai under 631 Brigade of Task Force 3 in Security Forces (East) area assist to conduct an "IFTAR" programme at Oluvil university premises at 0530 hrs on 25th july 2013.
