Troops of the 22 Division Headquarters on Monday (18) bid farewell to their outgoing General Officer Commanding, Major General Channa Weerasuriya, in accordance with military traditions. Under the guidance of General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division Major General Channa Weerasuriya and with the coordination of the Commander 221 Brigade, Brigadier WP Kariyawasam, 2 (V) GR and 17 SLNG Battalions organized a Christmas entertaining programme and offered a lunch for the children accommodated at “Geni Orphanage” Trincomalee on 22 Dec 2020.
