BRIGADIER SB AMUNUGAMA RWP RSP ndu ASSUMED DUTIES AS THE GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING 24 INFANTRY DIVISION

Brigadier S B Amunugama RWP RSP ndu assumed duties as the 12th General Officer Commanding of 24 Infantry Division on Thursday, 10 February 2022, amidst Seth Pirith Blessings of Maha Sangha at 24 Infantry Division Headquarters.

Subsequently he planted a sapling at the camp premises to mark the assuming of office as the new General Officer Commanding of 24 Infantry Division. Afterward he addressed the Officers and Other Ranks of the division and set out his vision before joining for refreshments with all Ranks.

Commanders 241 and 242 Infantry Brigades, Divisional Staff and Commanding Officers of under command Battalions of 24 Infantry Division were presented in the event adhering to health guidelines.
