The construction of a bathroom for a deserving army civil servant, Mr. SA Kumarasiri of 9 Field Engineer Regiment commenced on 25 May 2026 as a welfare initiative of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch (SLE SVB), considering the difficult living conditions faced by his family. The assistance was mainly provided due to the medical condition of his wife, who is suffering from severe spinal problems, making the use of the existing sanitary facilities extremely difficult.

The 14 CBRNE Response Regiment successfully conducted the Narcotic Detection Dog Handler Basic Course 01 (2025/01) under the concept and vision of the Commander of the Army, and under the guidance of the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and the Chief Field Engineer of the Sri Lanka Army.
