COLONEL COMMANDANT PINS INSIGNIAS ON NEWLY PROMOTED SENIOR OFFICER

In a formal ceremony held at the Regimental Headquarters of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, the Chief Field Engineer of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Major General C D Wickramanayake WV RSP ndc, officially pinned the rank insignias on a newly promoted Senior Officer of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.

During the ceremony, the Colonel Commandant took the opportunity to personally pin the new rank insignias on Colonel G G C L Kulathunga RSP psc. This significant milestone marks a distinguished step in the officer’s career, reflecting his dedication and service to the Corps and the Sri Lanka Army.

Following the pinning of the insignias, Major General C D Wickramanayake extended his warmest congratulations to Colonel Kulathunga and formally welcomed him to the prestigious "Red Gorget Patches" group of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers. The Colonel Commandant shared words of encouragement and expressed his confidence in the officer’s ability to uphold the traditions and responsibilities associated with this senior rank.

The Colonel Commandant further wished him continued success in his future endeavors, emphasizing the importance of visionary leadership and professional integrity as he takes on new roles within the Sapper family.
