Major General S W M Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, Commander of the Security Forces (West), warmly received the visiting Chief of Staff upon his arrival.

Major General S W M FERNANDO WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, the Commander Security Forces (West), made an official visit to 611 Infantry Brigade on 13 March 2024. Subsequently, the visiting Commander who was honoured with a Guard Turnout at the 611 Infantry Brigade Headquarters in Kegalle was warmly welcomed by the Commander of 611 Infantry Brigade. Thereby, comprehensive briefings on role and tasks and the present situation of the respective AOR were done by the Commander of 611 Infantry Brigade. Meanwhile, the Commander Security Forces (West) was invited to plant saplings in the respective camp premises to mark his arrival.
