The Viru Kekulu Pre-School's annual concert for 2025 was held vibrantly on 19 November 2025 at the Buddhist and Pali University auditorium. The event was graced by the President of the Army Sewa Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Swendrini Dissanayake as the Chief Guest. She was joined by the Commander, Security Forces (West) Major General Dinesh Udugama, his spouse Mrs. Udari Gamage, senior military personnel and the children's parents.

The Commander SF (West) paid an insightful visit to the Account Office on 18 November 2025, where the Officer in Charge briefed on recent infrastructure renovations, office functions and key responsibilities. The Commander then toured the office complex. Terminated the visit with signing visitors’ book, marking the event a memento was presented to Commander SF (West).

A series of vibrant and colourful events were held in SFHQ (West) marking its 13th anniversary on 14 and 15 November 2025. The finals of the much anticipated cricket tournament among under command establishments took place at the Kandalanda Playground, creating an energetic and festive atmosphere. Simultaneously, a large scale blood donation campaign was conducted at Bodhirajaramaya Temple, attracting more than 140 generous donours. In the evening, a serene bodhi pooja was held to invoke blessings on fallen war heroes, all personnel of SFHQ (West) and their families.

Charity event was held at the Sanhinda Children’s Home on 7 November 2025 to commemorate the 13th anniversary of the Security Forces Headquarters (SFHQ). The Commander SF (West) attended the event as the Chief Guest, accompanied by Senior Officers and Other Ranks of the Headquarters. The programme highlighted Security Forces Headquarters (West) continued dedication to social welfare and community engagement. During the event, food and stationery items were distributed among 17 children at the home, bringing joy and encouragement to them. The initiative reflected the compassionate spirit of the headquarters and its ongoing commitment to supporting underprivileged communities in meaningful ways.
