With an aim to enhance the Sportsmanship of the young generation in Batticaloa area 12th Gajaba Regiment located in Kalladi under 231 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) facilitated to Organized an inter Sports Clubs Volleyball Tournament in Batticaloa area at "Thiraimadu School Play Ground" in Batticaloa on 13 October 2013.Several Civil and Military dignitaries participated for the event.

10th Anniversary Celebrations of Security Forces Headquarters (East) begun with an all night Pirith Ceremony and an alms giving conducted at Security Forces Headquarters (East) premises ,Welikanda on 26th and 27th October 2013.
