Sri Lanka Army, 22 th Regiment Sri Lanka Vijayabagu Regiment located in Thanganagar Tco/Sankavalli School Play Ground under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East), Organized a Shramadhana Campaign with civilians on 04 May 2013

Security Force Headquarters(East) Conducted a training session for the 2nd in command of the battalion under command to Security Force Headquarters(East) as per the concept of commander Security Forces(East) Maj General SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndc IG. The training session is based on Development of Psychosocial Skills Pertaining to Civil Military Coordination Activities. This training session mainly consist of two parts.First session is from 29 April 2013 To 04 May 2013 , Second Session will be conducted from 13 May 2013 To 17 May 2013.

223 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) commenced the construction of "Minneriya Game Dewalaya " with the financial assistance of Sampath Bank Minneriya Branch on 5 May 2013. 223 Bde Comd, officials of sampath Bank Minneriya and villagers participated.

12 th Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery Located at Batticaloa Under 231 Bde of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area, Organized a Shramadhana Campaign to clear the area of Sungankerni School in Batticaloa with the Participation of Students on 08 May 2013.

8 BATTALION GEMUNU WATCH LOCATED IN UNNACHCHI UNDER 231 BRIGADE OF 23 DIVISION IN SECURITY FORCES (EAST) AREA CONDUCTED A DENGUE PREVENTION CAMPAIGN AT KOKADICHOLE VILLAGE ON 09 TH MAY 2013.

8th Gemunu Watch located under 231 Bde in 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area offered refreshment with a snack to the villagers who parcipated for the Divine Service in Pillumale Catholic Church,on 4th May 2013.

8th Gemunu Watch located under 231 Bde in of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area Organized an Awareness Program with regarded use of Thunder Flashes to restrict Elephants in to Villages for the Benefit of Unnachchiya Gandhi Nagar Villagers on 06th May 2013. The Event Organized with the Assistance of Wild Life Officers. 300 x Elephant firecrackers were distributed amongst villagers of Unnachchiya Gandhi Nagar GN Division.

18th Sinha Regiment Located in Batticaloa Under 231 Bde of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area, Organized a Shramadhana Campaign with the participating Civilians, to Clear the area of Sippimadu School in Batticaloa On 07 May 2013.

8th Sri Lanka National Guard under 232 Brigade of 23 Division located in Periyawadduwan under Security Forces (East) facilitated to Organizing Sports Meet in Iralakkulam school to enhance the sportsmanship amongst the students and the young generation of the area on 06 May 2013.
