HIS EXCELLENCY THE PRESIDENT MAHINDA RAJAPAKSHA DECLARED OPENED THE NEWLY RENOVATED "ST PETERS$ CHURCH" AT VAKARAI
His Excellency the President Mahinda Rajapaksha Declare opened the newly renovated St Peters$ Church at Vakarai which was destroyed due to "Tsunami". The church was renovated with the assistance of Sri Lanka Army under the directions of Major General Lal Perera, The Commander, Security Forces (East) and was re-Opened on 1st September 2013. Several Religious, Civil and Military dignitaries attended for the function along with more than 2000 devotees.
