12th Gajaba Regiment located in Kalladi under 231 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area, conducted a Dengu Prevention programme with civilians in the area by clearing the surroundings of "Periyauppadi Cultural Center" in Batticaloa on 30th Sep 2013.

12th Sri Lanka Gajaba Regiment located in Kalladi of 231 Brigade under 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area, have taken prompt action to control the unexpected fire erupted at the Garbage collecting center at Batticoloa town along with the Municipal Fire Brigade on 05th Oct 2013 without causing any damage to lives and property.

2nd Gajaba Regiment located in Trincomalee under 221 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area, Conducted a Pooja at Koneshvaram Kovil on 01st Oct 2013 with the participation of several Civilians along with Service Personnel.

8th Regiment Sri Lanka National Guard located in Thoppigala under 232 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East), Organized a Donation of School amenities worth of Rs 20,000 for 40 X Students in "Mawadiodei Village" in Vadduvan on 01 October 2013.

12th Gajaba Regiment located in Kalladi of 231 Brigade under 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area, conducted a shramadana campaign with civilians in the area , to clear the surroundings of "Dsuisda pre School" and "Nawathkuda church" area in Batticaloa on 30th Sep 2013 and 01th Oct 2013.
