With the conceptual guidance of the General Officer Commanding of 22 Division, Major General Channa Weerasooriya and under the supervision of the Commanders of the under command Brigades (221, 222 and 223 Brigades), a series of Dengue Prevention Campaigns and Sterilization Programes to safeguard from COVID 19 were organized covering 52 schools in Trincomalee District from 19 June 2020 to 03 July 2020.

On the guidelines given by Major General Senarath Bandara, Commander Security Force - East, troops of 233 Brigade organised a programme at Cultural Centre, Kunjankulam to donate 153 dry ration packs worth of Rs 3 Lakhs to needy families in Madurankernikulam village on 23 July 2020. The donation was sponsored by the members of 306 C2 Lions Club - Batticaloa.

Commander Security Force (East), pinned the insignias of newly promoted three Senior Officers on 20 June during his official visit to the 22 Infantry Division.
During the brief meet held at the GOC's office of 22 Division, Major General Senarath Bandara, congratulated on their promotion and extended his warm wishes for the newly promoted Brigadier and Colonels.

22 Division organized a Blood Donation Campaign at the 6 SLAC in 223 Bde AOR on 21 (Thursday) in order to donate blood to the blood bank of District General Hospital Trincomalee, in response to a request made by Dr MF Zeena Zanooz Consultant Transfusion Physician of Regional Blood Centre – Trincomalee.

A humanitarian assistance programme organised by 233 Brigade to distribute essential goods donated by the Lions club of Batticaloa was held at Koonjankulam village on 16 May 2020. 70 dry ration packs were distributed among 70 families of Koonjankulam village.
