22 Infantry Division, Trincomalee which was established on 23 July 1997 marked its 23rd anniversary on 23 July 2020 with several programmes organized on the guidelines given by the General Officer Commanding of 22 Division Major General Channa Weerasooriya.
To coincide with the anniversary, a dinner was offered to the children of Rewatha Orphanage Trincomalee on 22nd July 2020 and “Heel Dana” was offered to Maha Sangha of Jayasumanaramaya Trincomalee on 23rd July 2020 with the participation of officers and all ranks of 22 Infantry Division.
