Forward Maintenance Area (East) Organized a Blood Donation Campaign on 10 and 11 August 2020 at the Blood Bank of Polonnaruwa Hospital.
This meritorious project was organized in response to a request made by the Mr.Chamara Gunawardane PHI of Blood Center – Polonnaruwa, to fulfill the existing requirement of blood for the patient treated at the hospital. Forty two soldiers from Forward Maintenance Area (East) Area Of Responsibility volunteered to donate blood for this worthy cause.
The Director of District General Hospital Polonnaruwa together with his staff thanked the Sri Lanka Army for their generosity.
