The Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Engineers donated school items to the children of Alagalla Vidyalaya in Vavuniya on 26 October 2022. The event included arranging of refreshments to the children and conducting an awareness programme on community health.
The Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers launched a donation programme of donating stationaries and other essential items to 41 deserving female children of Dharmapala Bosath Child Development Center, Hingurakgoda on 31 October 2022. Apart from the main donation programme childrens’ were also served with a delicious lunch and were entertained with a music session.

The Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers conducted World’s Children’s Day Programme at Uragoda Primary School, Matugama Zonal Education Office on 7th October 2022.
The event included arranging a lunch for the students, presenting of gifts and an entertainment programme. The worthy donation facilitated 60 under privileged students who were studying at the school. The President of Seva Vanitha Branch Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Mrs. Mallika Wijayasundara, members of Seva Vanitha Branch and donors were participated in the event.
The Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers organized an awareness programme to educate the soldiers of Corps of Engineers about the Importance of Vocational Training on 02 September 2022 at Army Camp- Mattegoda. The concept of the programme was an idea of the president of Seva Vanitha Branch Sri Lanka Engineers (SVB - SLE) Mrs Mallika Wijayasundara who keenly directed the programme to educate the troops on prevailing job market and opportunities ahead for their children. Accordingly, Major (Retd) Keerthi Thalakiriyawa gave a fruitful approach for the day’s event and Mrs Chandima Rodrigo- Vocational Carrier Counsellor, graced the occasion as the first guest lecturer to deliver a timely important lecture on ‘Identification of youth abilities and available career paths’. This session was followed with three more lectures conducted by the resource personnels mentioned below
The Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Engineers launched a donation programme of dry ration packs for 15 needy temples located in Welipenna, Matugama Sassanarakshaka Balamandalaya in Kaluthara District at the Senevirathnarama Temple, Welipenna and the donation of a wheel chair and relief packs to a differently abled child in Pitigala area on 05 September 2022.

The Cement Stove project was launched under the patronage of the President of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Mallika Wijayasundara on 27 July 2022 at 10 Field Engineer Regiment. The Colonel Commandant – Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and the Commander – Security Forces (Jaffna), Major General WMGCSB Wijayasundara RSP USP ndu and Mrs. Mallika Wijayasundara were welcomed by the Commanding Officer Major MCS Mallawage Lsc SLE.
Mrs Mallika Wijayasundara assumed office as the 15th President of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch during a charming ceremony held at the Headquarters Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers on 02 July 2022.
