With the sponsorship of Brigadier Mangala Mayadunna RSP USP, Centre Commandant Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and Mrs Lalani Mayadunna, Seva Vanitha Branch Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers distributed 20 dry ration packs among needy families in general area Kiriwaththuduwa.
Walallawita Divisional Secretariat Division has been identified as a high risk area due to Covid 19 pandemic situation. The under privileged families in the area have been severely affected due to the recent flood caused in the area. Identifying the necessity Seva Vanitha Branch Corps of Engineers organized a worthy donation to distribute dry ration packs and sanitary items among people.

The Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers (SVB - SLE) organized a donation programme for nearly 80 disabled and autism elders at the Sujatha Elder's Home, Kalutara on 9 May 2021, to celebrate the 2021 world mother's day.
Seva Vanitha Branch - Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers (SVB - SLE) distributed 2 Prosthetic Legs and 21 Wheel Chairs for differently abled soldiers and their close relatives.
A special programme for commemoration of International Women’s day organized by Seva Vanitha Branch Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers was held yesterday (8 March 2021) at the Convention Centre, Mattegoda, under the patronage of the Chairperson of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Shiromi Amarasekara. The day’s programme lined up with prosthetic limb donation for differently abled soldiers, Plant distribution and a psychological lecture for Seva Vanitha members.
The Farewell Dinner hosted to the outgoing Chairperson of Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers was held at the Officers’ Mess RHQ SLE on 12 February 2021. Mrs Ramya Peiris on her arrival was warmly welcomed by Mrs Shiromi Amarasekara. A documentary video highlighting the welfare and social activities conducted during the tenure of Mrs Ramya Peiris was displayed. Further, a photo album was presented to the outgoing Chairperson highlighting the significant events held during her tenure. Mrs Ramya Peiris paid her sincere gratitude to the Chairperson Mrs Shiromi Amarasekara and all members for organizing wonderful farewell and greatly appreciated the excellent support extended to discharge her duties. The Chairperson of Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs Shiromi Amarasekara highly appreciated the invaluable service rendered by Mrs Ramya Peiris to uplift the welfare of injured and deceased war heroes and their families of the Corps and extended best wishes for the outgoing Chairperson, and her loving family for their future endeavours. Large gathering of members of the Seva Vanitha Branch were presented at the event. The event conducted according to the health guidelines issued on prevention of Covid 19.
The 13th President of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Shiromi Amarasekara assumed duties on 08 February 2021 at the Seva Vanitha Branch Office at the Regimental Headquarters - Panagoda amid religious blessings, warm greetings and best wishes.
As a gesture of goodwill and charity, the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Engineers (SVB-SLE) organized a donation program of 2 wheel chairs, 7 prosthetic legs for deceased war hearos, differently abled and serving soldiers and Stationary items for their children on 20th January 2021 at Convention Hall premises, Maththegoda.
