The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers took the initiative to organize a special lunch, donation of essential needs by adding entertainment session for the residents of the 'Suwasetha' Child Development Centre in Kosgama on 22 January 2024.
A special luncheon and donation was extended to the 19 children residing in the Suwasetha Child Development Centre. Accompanied by a calypso band, these now-children sang songs that evoked nostalgic memories, creating an enjoyable and heart-warming occasion.
This event, conducted under the guidance of Major General MK Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu, the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force, and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, and Mrs. Shammi Jayawardena, the President of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, witnessed active participation from the members of the Seva Vanitha Branch SLE.
