The Seva Vanitha Branch - Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers hailed and appreciated the services of the former President Mrs Shammi Jayawardena during a farewell reception at Regimental Centre Officers’ Mess on 28 July 2024 with the participation of Seva Vanitha Members.
Mrs Surangi Amarapala, the new President of SLE Seva Vanitha Branch offering a bouquet of flowers welcomed the day’s Chief Guest, Mrs Shammi Jayawardena on the arrival.

Monthly Meeting of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers got underway on 22 June 2024 at the Regimental Centre Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers. The meeting was presided by the President of Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Mrs. Surangi Amarapala with participation of Executive members and other members.

Matters pertaining to various welfare activities that have yet to be implemented for the benefit of soldiers and their families were discussed during the meeting.

The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers took the initiative to organize a special lunch, donation of essential needs by adding entertainment session for the residents of the 'Suwasetha' Child Development Centre in Kosgama on 22 January 2024.

The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers took the initiative for organizing of a Sappers’ Retro Musical Concert ‘Evergreens of the 70s’ at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre on 21 October 2023. This event stands as a testament to unwavering commitment of the Seva Vanitha Branch Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers to the noble cause of enhancing the well-being of both abled and disabled soldiers and their families who have endured the profound challenges arise during the Humanitarian Operation.
