Monthly Meeting (August) of Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers convened on Tuesday, 20th August 2024 at the Regimental Centre, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, presided by Mrs. Surangi Amarapala, President SLE Seva Vanitha Branch. This significant gathering was attended by the Executive Committee, Mrs. Lilanthi Dolage (Secretary), Mrs. Anupama Rathnayake (Treasurer) and spouses of Serving Officers of the Corps.
The meeting served as a platform to discuss and express concerns regarding future welfare projects and fundraising projects designed to uplift the living standard of Soldiers and Civil Servants of the Corps. Participants engaged in constructive dialogue aimed at enhancing the well-being and support systems for members associated with the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.
A highlight of the event was an enlightening Guest Lecture on 'Mindfulness Programme' conducted by Dr. Thulshara Dissanayake, Psychological Counselor & Cognitive Behavior Therapist at Lanka Hospital - Colombo, Asia Hospital - Maharagama & Asiri Hospital - Kandy. This session not only provided valuable insights, but also included stress relief practical session for attendees.
