A refresher course programme for the Regimental Quarter Master Sergeant’s have been commenced on 11 November 2020 at the Regimental Centre, Boyagane with the participation of 16 SNCO’s from under command Bns of the Regiment . With the directions of the Col of the Regt and the Cent Comdt of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment the refresher programme was conducted to enhance the subject knowledge of the SNCO’s, who are newly appointed as RQMS of VIR Bns .
The new Outdoor Volleyball Court constructed at Regimental Centre, Vijayabahu Ingantry Regiment at Boyagane, Kurunegala with Regimental Funds was declared open by the Colonel of the Regiment of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Major General S P K A Pilapitiya RWP RSP USP on a colourful note on 07.11.2020.

The Vijayabahu Motocross, organized by The Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment in collaboration with Sri Lanka Army Motor Sports Club, Sri Lanka Racing Riders Association, and Sri Lanka Motorcycle Riders Association was an annual fund raising project in order to uplift the welfare of differently abled war heroes, soldiers in active service and their families of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment.
