The Vijayabahu Motocross, organized by The Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment in collaboration with Sri Lanka Army Motor Sports Club, Sri Lanka Racing Riders Association, and Sri Lanka Motorcycle Riders Association was an annual fund raising project in order to uplift the welfare of differently abled war heroes, soldiers in active service and their families of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment. In this year had been scheduled to be held on a grand scale including a Raffle Draw at the Vijayabahu Motocross circuit at Boyagane on 07 November 2020 and it was cancelled as per the rules and the regulation of the Government of Sri Lanka due to COVID-19 pandemic situations prevailing in the country.
Hence, the ceremony of the Raffle lottery draw was held at the “Salute” Multifunctional Hall at Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, Boyagane, Kurunegala. General Officer Commanding of the 55 Division and Colonel of the Regiment of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Major General Sisira Pilapitiya graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
