  • A GET-TOGETHER FOR RETIRED SENIOR OFFICERS, OFFICERS, AND OTHER RANKS WAS ORGANIZED BY THE 3 ARMOURED REGIMENT

    The 3 Armoured Regiment organized a special get-together on 14 January 2024, at the camp premises, bringing together retired officers and other ranks for a nostalgic reunion. Commencing with a poignant tribute to war heroes at the unit monument, the Commanding Officer warmly welcomed attendees, including; Maj Gen N R Marambe (Rtd) RWP RSP USP psc, Maj Gen D T Gamage (Rtd) psc, Maj Gen M G T D Rathnasekara (Rtd) RSP USP, Maj Gen P R Pathiravithana USAWC psc, Brig M W A R C Wijeauriya RSP USP ndc, along with the Centre Commandant SLAC, Brig A P C R Prematilaka RSP USP ndc, retired Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and past Commanding Officers still in active service.

  • ALC ANNUAL SCHOOL BOOKS DONATION PROGRAMME AT 1ST RECONNAISSANCE REGIMENT

    In line with the annual School Books Donation programme organized by the Armour Ladies Club, the 1st Reconnaissance Regiment initiated the Book Distribution on 13 January 2024, at Rock House Camp.

  • 3 ARMOURED REGIMENT DINERS' CLUB

    In aligned with the annual officers' training program of the unit, a Diners' Club organized by the 3 Armoured Regiment was successfully held at the Cavalry Mess, Rock House Camp on 05 January 2024. The event featured a Guest Lecture by Major General D Kalupahana (Rtd) RSP USP psc, the Father of 3 Armoured Regiment, under the topic 'Unleashing the Potential of Human Beings; Nurturing Talents and Harvesting Excellence'. The primary objective of the gathering was to expand the knowledge horizons of Cavalry Officers while providing them with a social platform for interaction.
