6 SLAC HEARTWARMING GESTURE: HANDING OVER A NEW HOUSE TO A CIVILIAN

In accordance with the noble vision of GOC 22 Inf Div Maj Gen P A M Peiris RSP USP psc, with the generous financial assistance of Mr. Anuradha Kothalawala (Doner), the foundation stone for a new house was laid on 12 January 2024. This initiative aimed to provide a new house for Mr. Chaminda Kumara, a resident of Kithuluthuwa, Morawewa.

With the guidance of The Comd 223 Inf Bde & The CO 6 SLAC (Rft), Offrs and the dedicated labor of ORs the construction of the house was completed efficiently within three months of duration. On the auspicious day of 09 April 2024, at 1145 hrs, Mr. Chaminda Kumara and his family gratefully received this gift from the hands of GOC 22 Inf Div Maj Gen P A M Peiris RSP USP psc, along with Mr. Anuradha Kothalawala.
