Construction of a New House for a Needy Family in Trincomalee Initiated by 4 Armored Regiment

The foundation laying ceremony to construct a new house for a needy family living in Shardhapura, Trincomalee was held in the morning hours on 04 April 2024 amidst religious rituals.

The project was launched inline with the vision of the Commander of the Army.

This meritorious project will be undertaken by the 4 Armoured Regiment under the fullest guidance of General Officer Commanding - 22 Infantry Division, Maj Gen PAM Peiri RSP USP psc and with Mr. Ruchira Vithanage's financial contribution.

The General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and the Divisional Secretary of the area, Officers and Other Ranks of the 4 AR attended the inaugural ceremony.
