The 7th Volunteer regiment - SLAC celebrated its 26th anniversary with many events at camp premises. The day began with a guard turnout and a grand parade, displaying the regiment's military traditions and discipline. The Commanding Officer planted a tree, symbolizing growth and a sustainable future. An all-rank group photograph captured the solidarity among the troops adding memories to the unit history. A commemorative event honored the war heroes, reminding everyone of the bravery and sacrifices made to the sovereignty of the nation. As per the direction of Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps, 5 Reconnissance Regiment organized a visiting lecture in the field of “Psychology & Counseling”. Mrs Nirmali Wijekoon, the Senior psychologist of Emjay International Pvt Ltd (group) conducted the valuable lecture in very interesting way with her vast knowledge & experience. All ranks of Ironside Camp, Pangolla, physically participated in the lecture while others were facilitated to join the lecture via google meet.
